Extend Feature Guide

Introduction

The Extend feature on freemusic allows you to lengthen a song and add new ideas without starting from scratch.
It helps you generate additional sections that connect naturally with your existing track while leaving room for creativity.

Choose the song to extend

Open the AI Music Generator and select the song you want to extend from the workspace panel on the right.
This opens the Extend view, where you control how the new section will be generated.

Set where the extension starts

Use the timeline slider or enter an exact timestamp to decide where the extension begins.
Everything before that point stays unchanged, and the AI starts composing new music from your selected position.

Customize the extended section

Use the Instrumental option to choose whether the added part includes vocals or remains instrumental.
In the Extend Style field, describe the genre, mood, instruments, or atmosphere you want for the new section.

Fine-tune with advanced options

Click Advanced options to access deeper controls:

• Exclude Styles: Styles you want to avoid
• Vocal Gender: Vocal type for the extension
• Weirdness: Higher values introduce more experimental ideas
• Style Influence: How strongly the style description guides the result
• Audio Influence: How closely the new section follows the original track

When you are satisfied, click Generate and wait while the extended part is created.
